AnswerCrowd is changing – for the crowd!
AnswerCrowd is constantly evolving. Recently, we released our ios app and implemented video answers to improve the functionality of our service while further closing the gap between businesses and their consumers.
As the nature of our service continues to change, our priorities will remain the same. We have always placed a high importance on our Crowd, because without you guys, there would be no Answers! As our user base continues to grow, we need to concentrate on keeping the whole crowd happy. A big part of this involves increasing the volume of questions to ensure that everyone has the chance to have their voice heard.To accomplish this, we have to pursue avenues that are going to maximise the amount of questions that are available, while still being able to reward our members for their time.
Qualitative vs Quantitative Research
Market research is a fundamental tool in the product development cycle, and it comes in all shapes, sizes and forms. Our current strengths lie in the speed and depth of the written responses that you provide us with. This type of qualitative research is particularly important, because it allows you to put your feelings into words, rather than just numbers or scales. However, businesses also need quantitative research, such as information that they can easily apply to percentages or statistics. Neither type of research is more important than the other when trying to understand the thought process of a potential consumer, but we feel that our Crowd could have an influence in both forms.
Introducing: External Surveys
To meet the demands of a growing user base while we continue to expand our service to suit our clients needs, we have decided to implement an external surveys feature.This new and exciting question type allows you to win additional cash prizes and is more comparable to traditional market research that you may have seen or been involved in before. The surveys involve a mix of quantitative and qualitative research, but most notably allow our clients to utilise the inclusion of scales in their consumer analysis. Our latest component is exactly what it sounds like: a survey that is constructed by one of our clients, externally from our system.
What does this mean for the crowd?
Firstly, more questions. This means more chances to have your voice heard while picking up the last few dollars you need to redeem your gift vouchers. With a survey format, it is important to note that our clients are paying per completion, not per question. This change is only relevant for external surveys, and nothing to do with the original format/payment system of AnswerCrowd will change.The expected completion time for these surveys will range from 5-20 minutes, and you will be rewarded with 1$ of credit upon the full completion of a survey. We understand some of these surveys may take longer than the responses that our Crowd is used to giving, so we have implemented a monthly prize draw as an extra reward for members who choose to complete these surveys.
How does the bonus credit giveaway work?
The bonus credit giveaway is drawn monthly and will increase every time a Crowd member completes a survey. Members will be rewarded one entry for every completion and can enter an unlimited amount of times. Entries will automatically be added into the correlating monthly draw and cannot be saved up. Winners will be contacted privately and announced on social media. Remember to like our Facebook page for updates about the amount of the jackpot and more.
Terms and Conditions
You must meet the required demographic for each survey and may have to answer some short screening questions before commencement.
Invalid or dishonest responses may be filtered out and if so, associated credits may be revoked. Make sure you read the questions and answer appropriately.
